In this day and age where everything is at our fingertips, it is easy to fill our minds with noise. The stimulation available to us today is endless - YouTube, Netflix, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, online shopping .... hours can be easily lost in the online realm.
As a resilience speaker, I strongly believe that in order for us to have a strong mind, we must consciously nurture it. We must learn to filter the trash that automatically pops up in our lives (and our screens) and purposely expose our minds to knowledge, growth and positive vibes.
Quite often though, the modern person unconsciously dwell on mindless trash just to "de-stress". What is your guilty pleasure?
