Why We Must Stop Limiting Ourselves
As someone who helps people lose weight in my line of work, I face many who just resign to the fact that they are fat. It's the "I-was-born-like-that" syndrome - they accept that they are overweight / obese, and think nothing can be done about it. Or at least any attempt will prove futile.
The mind is an amazing tool, quite limitless in its capacity to learn and change. However, if one strongly believes in its limitations by embracing them as if such artificial borders are hard truths, then it's impossible for the mind to grow. It will be starved from knowledge, unable to expand to its full potential and see new paradigms. It’s one of the key principles I teach in my sales workshops in Singapore.
